I grew up in Delhi, the capital of India. I did my medical school and residency in ophthalmology from one of the premier institutes of the country "Lady Hardinge Medical College".  After moving to the US I did my residency in internal medicine from Medical College of Georgia in 2009. I worked as faculty and hospitalist at the Emory University Hospital starting 2012. I was involved in teaching, research activities and quality improvement projects during my time at the Emory University Hospital.  I transitioned to outpatient internal medicine and worked at The Wellstar Medical group at Douglasville, Georgia till 2021. With all these years of working with larger medical groups, I started feeling a need to provide more personalized and approachable patient care. And hence, Care First Medical was born in April of 2022. 

I approach my patients from a place of empathy and understanding. You will find a safe place in me to discuss your problems and needs.  My goal is to partner with you and help you achieve your best health. It gives me great joy and satisfaction when I see someone doing better than when they first came to me.  You will hear me talk about healthy nutrition, exercise, stress management quite often as I believe that good health is achieved only when your mind, body and spirit is in harmony. Modern medicine has a role to play and is important but so is how you nurture and nourish yourself.
